Your ARMA Vancouver Chapter will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wicklow Restaurant and Pub at:
610 Stamps Landing, South False Creek Vancouver
(next door to Monk McQueens)
There's no need to register for this meeting, please just show up!!!
We will be offering some complimentary appetizers, but if you wish to order meals or drinks it will be your responsibility to pay for your selections.
There's paid off-street parking available at Moberly and Commodore Roads.
And free parking on the street and at the north foot of Spyglass Place - under the Cambie Bridge. Aqua bus ferry service available from Granville Island, Yaletown, and Science World.

The ARMA International Education Foundation (AIEF) has just published its latest news update:
The ARMA International Educational Foundation (AIEF) funds a scholarship program to encourage development of the international records and information management community with an appropriately educated records and information management workforce.
Graduate Level Scholarship Announcement
A Scholarship of $3000 will be awarded annually, in the summer, to a full-time student entering the second year of a graduate records and information management program or equivalent library science or archival studies program which contains a significant number of records management and information courses at a recognized university or a college leading to a Masters degree or equivalent.

Congratulations to our ARMA Toronto Chapter friends as they prepare to celebrate their 40th Anniversary, in style with a "Gala Celebration" on January 28, 2009 - in honour of this special milestone. While it may be too far for most of us West Coast'rs to make this free and exciting event, some of you might have plans to be in their area - so, why not register and participate in this commemorative evening?
